At Gaia visions we believe each and every image has its own strength, mood and personality.

When an image is concieved, the subtle nuances of light and character that define our style and vision, can far too easily be lost with the often crude translation of the process of printing. Particularly so in high run batch printing sources.

From a background and passion in art and the finished artwork itself, it was never an option that the printing process would be handed to a third party. Our in house printing is a reflection of this belief and dedication to pursuit of printing perfection. Where the the beginnings and vision of the conceptualisation of an image, in-camera, lies in the same hands as the printing of it. The complexities of colour profiling and colour management is a deeply mundane and boring subject, but is nonetheless employed here. Most importantly however, is the ‘feel’ of the same discerning eye of the photographer,  always aware of keeping intact the ‘life’ in an image. To this end each print is individually hand crafted treated as its own piece, because keeping the same recipe for all images is not possible for these standards, while the printer sees only one way of seeing. Archival inks and papers are not cheap but then neither is your treasured print, which will accordingly last you a manufacturers lifetime guarantee under typical conditions.
